My husband surprised me with a trip to a beautiful historic family home. the hosts treated us like guests and the facilities met our needs perfectly. the traditional English breakfast was excellent, with homemade bread and a variety of choices. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with lovely touches like homemade biscuits and bathrobes. the owners even provided a turn down service and left a box of chocolates with a happy birthday note for me. It was a truly memorable stay.

We had a fantastic family stay at this historic manor house nestled in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. the warm and friendly welcome made us feel right at home. Our spacious and comfortable room had a charming character, and it was kept spotlessly clean. the homemade breakfast, with ingredients from their own kitchen garden and free-range hens, was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed exploring the extensive grounds and the inviting countryside nearby. It was a memorable experience filled with high culture and excellent hospitality.
The roadside signage could be clearer, especially in the dark.

We got great value for our money at Haughley House. The room was comfortable and the location was peaceful with beautiful surroundings. The staff treated us with utmost kindness and made us feel right at home.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better was if they had a wider variety of fresh fruits available.
